Terms of Service
Last updated August 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of The Sports Nomad. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
Who can use this
You must be 21 or older and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. You're responsible for providing accurate information, including your real date of birth, and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
What The Sports Nomad is
We're a platform that helps football fans find and organize meet-ups with local supporters clubs. We provide the coordination tool — we don't organize, host, staff, or supervise the meet-ups themselves, and we're not responsible for what happens at them. Attend at your own judgment and risk, the same as any other public social gathering.
Your content
You're responsible for anything you post — meet-up details, venue names, bios, and so on. Don't post anything abusive, harassing, hateful, illegal, or knowingly false. We use automated filtering to catch some of this and reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.
Venue information
Venue names and addresses are verified against Google's Places data at the time a meet-up is created, but we can't guarantee a venue is still open, accurate, or suitable by the time you show up. Confirm details independently before heading out.
Team names and independence
The Sports Nomad is an independent, fan-run platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, national federation, or FIFA. Club and country names are used solely to identify supporters chapters for those teams, in the same way a fan forum or supporters club naturally refers to the team it supports.
Account termination
You can stop using the platform and delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users.
No warranty
The Sports Nomad is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular meet-up or chapter will be active or well-attended.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sports Nomad and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or attendance at any meet-up organized through it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
